The metaverse is currently a heated topic in the cryptocurrency sector. While the metaverse is mainly attributed to the boom in blockchain gaming, brands and other initiatives are also looking towards the metaverse to have a broader reach.
Next Earth is a metaverse initiative that allows users a democratic right to control their avatars.
Next Earth launching a token
Next Earth is focusing on climate change, and it has donated more than $800,000 to charity since it was launched. The metaverse announced it would launch a token presale slated for January 22. The token will officially launch on January 27, 2022.
The token launch will happen on the new Next Earth Launchpad. A user on the Next Earth metaverse with at least $100 worth of land can participate in the sale. Users can also stake the token under the ticker NXTT and generate rewards.
The launch of the Next Earth platform will allow landowners of virtual properties to participate in decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) and govern the metaverse. These landowners will generate income from the activities happening on the metaverse.
The Next Earth metaverse is created so that virtual landowners will actively participate in the ecosystem. Thus, these users can earn passive income and involvement in the platform’s future.
Virtual platforms will play a major role in the future. Next Earth seeks to focus on the creation of a self-sustaining metaverse ecosystem. Through this virtual world, users can create and share content on the platform, creating an ecosystem that will boost prosperity for everyone.
Next Earth records major gains
The Next Earth metaverse has recorded notable gains. Around 30,000 virtual landowners are already on the platform, while the number of registered users stands at 180,000. Moreover, the NFT marketplace has recorded 2418 transactions valued at around $717,843. More than $650,000 has already been generated as profit on the platform.
The metaverse has generated $8 million in total income. A 10% of the total income has been donated towards environmental activities. One of the projects making major gains is the sale of leading tourist attractions on the metaverse. Notable landmarks such as the New York MET and the pyramids have generated major profits after recording high prices in the secondary NFT market.
The other leading sales on the metaverse also include Colosseum. Many stadiums and other points of interest have also recorded increased demand, increasing the value. The future gains for the Next Earth metaverse could increase because of climate change and the firm’s commitment to democracy.
