On Monday, Omise, a blockchain-based payment company announced that it is offering its customers a new payment platform. The option, PayNow, will be launched next month. With the payment platform, Omise plans to target e-commerce businesses in the South-Asian financial market.
The company launched the payment platform last month. PayNow provides e-payment solutions to improve uninterrupted, fast, and safe digital transactions.
According to the company, there will be an option to checkout as it is collaborating with nine different banks to provide this service.
When Singapore limited the banking ties between crypto firms and the banking sector, it affected many companies doing crypto-related businesses. However, some of these companies are gradually gaining momentum and reopening their services. For instance, Luno, one of the firms affected, is about to reestablish and begin its services.
Omise is offering a secure payment platform
Omise has pointed out how it wants to make sure it offers completely secure payment options for its customers. It stated that it’s going to base the payment with the same payment standards the top banks are using. The company will make sure that customers carry out their transactions by providing their UE number, National Registration ID card, and registered mobile numbers. It is also going to make the process for accepting payment simple for them. Once they can scan the QR code sent to them, they are going to make payments easily.
According to Omise, the goal is to contribute its quota to the Smart Nation policy of the Singaporean government. And with the PayNow option, customers and users will be able to carry out transactions with ease. The platform will help the government achieve its cashless policy. It will also facilitate quick and secure payments.
