Finnish accounting firm Talenom has confirmed that it has taken over Nomo from Innocells, the corporate venture arm and digital innovation hub of Banco Sabadell.
Offering SMEs account, accounting, and payment traffic services, Talenom’s acquisition of Nomo reinforces its notable entry into the Spanish micro-SME market.
Being a “digital all-in-one” platform, Nomo will assist Talenom to target Spain’s underserved industry of 6 million micro-SMEs, providing them with increased control over their finances, accounting, and tax. The Nomo platform features solutions for sale invoicing, bank connectivity, expense management, payment cards and accounts, bank reconciliation, accounting and tax advisory.
Nomo is an in-house incubated startup of Banco Sabadell, got €2.5 million of investment from the bank in January 2021, and has since then added new account and card offerings. Earlier in the year, Nomo said that it managed to quadruple its paying clients in 2021.
