The Lions of Pride NFT (nonfungible token) project was developed to illuminate the incredible impact Pride has had all through history. This collection highlights 25 amazing people that in most cases advanced LGBTQ causes and in others managed to change the world.
The site for the collection is here and the collection launch is scheduled for May 26, 2022. A minimum of five percent of the proceeds acquired from the sale of the NFT art is being donated to a major LGBTQ charity that will be announced shortly.
This collection showcases artists, astronauts, influential politicians, philosophers, inventors, kings, and many other people from all walks of life.
An exciting part of this collection is that every NFT features a retrospective description of the effect that every trailblazer had, their difficulties and accomplishments, and a roadmap that lays out an innovative series of different events with prizes, games, special NFT gifts, and a planned token & NFT drops/staking for every one of the Lions of Pride NFT holders.
The collection consists of 7500 tokens. Notably, the Polygon network and Matic have been selected for the project to enhance transaction speed, boost security and reduce fees. That retrospective look with epic, rare, and legendary rarities provides a first step as the team strives to fight off stereotypes and look to highlight current LGBTQ influencers in a planned second-generation release.
