MetaQuotes, the company behind the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) software, announced that Venezuela’s securities exchange (BDVE) has been listed on the platform. According to the announcement, the new offering will include derivatives issued by both national and foreign regulated entities.
BDVE President, Manuel Fajardo, commented on the development. “We will be able to internationalize the high yield securities issued by BDVE,” he stated. Additionally, the offering will include Options contracts, Futures, and standardized Total Return Swaps (TRS).
The offering also allows exchange partners of MT5 to connect through its gateway to get the BDVE liquidity.
MetaQotes software noted that market actors will have improved trading conditions due to the standardization of TRS. The company stated that it will be better than those offered by OTC derivatives. BDVE is currency regulated by Venezuela’s SUNAVAL.
BDVE Wants To Provide More Options For Users
The MT5 platform has increased usage this year. Although the software was launched in 2010, many traders were skeptical about using its new functionalities. Instead, they have preferred using the MT4 trading platform.
But after Metaquotes announced its plans to discontinue the use of the old MetaTrader 4 software, many exchanges and platforms have integrated the MT5 software into their services.
Earlier this year, prime brokerage and execution venue, IS Prime, announced that it has added MetaTrader 5 to its white label solutions. The broker is already providing the MT4 trading platform in its solutions. With the addition of the MT5 platform, the broker wants to offer more options to retail forex brokers.
And in July this year, UpTrader, forex solutions, and forex CRM provider launched a social trading platform for Metatrader 5brokerages and white labels. This came three months after the company launched its new investment service for MetaTrader 4. With the most recent additions, social trading software is now available for both MT4 and MT5 brokers and white labels.
More Brokers Offer Support For MT5
Metaquotes stated that easy management and stability are some of the features of the software. Additionally, the social trading platform can work as both PAMM and MAM.
The company has not completely faced out MetaTrader 4, but the new features in MT5 make the latter a more attractive option for investors and traders. More brokers and now offering support for the platform.
