OANDA Japan has now added more Contract of Differences (CDFs) to its stock indices offerings. The expanded offering will include CDFs on popular indices like Dow 30 and Nikkei 225.
The firm announced it will begin stock index CFD trading from Monday the 1st of June. According to the announcement, the company plans to add 16 instruments to the stock indices, including major stock indexes in Asia, America, and Europe. Already, is has proposed four top US stock indices for the addition.
How clients can benefit from the trading instruments
There are guidelines on the use of trading instruments by OANDA clients. The company said OANDA clients in Japan have to create a CFD sub-account on the Toyota server if they want to make use of the new trading instrument.
OANDA announced that traders can now go over to the “My Page” section and choose “Create MT5 Sub Account” or the “Create MT4 Sub Account” under the CFD account management section. After login in, they can continue to the other sections of their account.
The firm carried out scheduled maintenance on Friday to get the systems and servers ready for the enhanced platform.
OANDA poised to meet the needs of clients
Remember that OANDA rolled out its MetaTrader 5 platform early in January this year. But before that, the company introduced the demo accounts in December last year. Based on the company’s announcement then, the demo launch was to enable users to have firsthand experience with the new platform before the proper launch.
OANDA’s decision to include the MetaTrader5 platform to the trading offerings was a result of requests from clients. The company said it further proves it usually responds swiftly to the concerns raised by clients. OANDA says it’s always committed to meeting the needs of active traders to expand its range of product offerings.
Over the coming months, other geographies will also enjoy the MT5 platform, according to OANDA.
Traders have already started trading on the MT5 platform using their live accounts.
OANDA Japan still offers trading on the MT4 platform as well as the Fx Trade platform. The company is one of the few Japanese brokerage firms that offer trading on the MT4 platform. Forex.com is also another company that offers the same platform.
Several brokerage firms in Japan have stopped offering the MT4 platform for Fx trading. But it seems OANDA and few others will still keep the MT4 platform alongside the Mt5 platform for now.
