On Tuesday, IS Prime Hong Kong announced the appointment of Antony Tan as the President of Trading Solutions. Tan will join up with the subsidiary of ISAM Capital Markets Group, stepping away from Invast Global in the process. He served as the Head of Dealing Services within Invast.
Taking Up Greener Pastures
With his new position, Tan will take on responsibility for the overall management of liquidity for the Group. Furthermore, he will manage risk client relationships for all cases within the Asia Pacific region.
In regards to his new role at IS Prime, tan gave a comment to the press about it. He stated that the opportunity to join the firm, which he considers a leader in the execution service and multi-asset brokerage industries, is a natural upward climb for him. He stated that he was excited to have the chance to work alongside a team of considerable experience.
Furthermore, he pointed out that the team’s offerings are “cutting edge” and “award-winning” and stated that it had bolstered the company significantly. He said that he was eager to leverage his own experience to help the company continue its rapid pace of growth.
The Mandatory Public Statement
Will Robbins, the Head of Asia within IS Prime, commented on the matter as a whole. He stated that, as the company steadily increased its presence within the Asia Pacific region, the company strives to build out its regulated OTC derivatives and FX offerings to the region.
As such, the company continues to invest its resources to acquire high caliber, experienced players to act as its staff. With this, Robbins stated that it would allow the company to provide the highest levels of services possible for its clients based within the Asia time zone. He said that Antony, in particular, will serve as an asset to the company at large, citing his in-depth knowledge and experience with regional markets as justification thereof.

Prior to taking up the role with IS Prime, he had spent four years working for Invast, particularly the Sydney Office of the company. Furthermore, Tan has experience in co-founding and growing a fintech company within China and served as an operations associate within the finance firm, Prime Liquidity Solutions.
