Users of the Brave browser will now get to access Binance directly via browser tabs. Brave will come with a built-in Binance widget which will be enabled by default.
A new tab page leads you to Binance
The new built-in Binance widget opens up every time the user opens a new tab. This will make it easier for users to trade and buy/sell cryptocurrencies. Privacy oriented browser Brave is a supporter of blockchain technology. It replaced traditional tracking for advertisements with its own ad network run using the Basic Attention Token (BAT).
With this new partnership in place, users can now buy, sell and trade popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple alongside hundreds of other ERC20 tokens. The fully functional widget will also support deposits, withdrawals, viewing summaries and more. This will also eliminate the need for maintaining other accounts and applications and do all cryptocurrency-related tasks right from within the browser.
How does it add more value?
Brave works on an attention-based rewards ecosystem and allows creators to be rewarded for their content via BATs. The users will be provided an option to work on both Binance.US and Binance.com platforms. They will be able to view their balances and obtain deposit addresses as well. The widget will be enabled by default in the browser. Users can also turn it off and even hide the widget directly from the browser tabs. Other options will be available in their settings.
The new feature will also be available in the Nightly desktop version. It will also be released for the general desktop browser in April. It is unclear when the company will release the feature for its mobile platform. Brave said that this cooperation with Binance will help in boosting their objective of facilitating wider acceptance of digital currencies around the world.
Brave co-founder and CEO Brendan Eich commented on the partnership and said,
“Cryptocurrency trading can be a daunting task for users not familiar with such assets, so integrating Binance into the Brave browser makes the process seamless and simple. By bringing a leading exchange like Binance directly into the browser, Brave is taking cryptocurrency trading mainstream and enabling users to conduct transactions with ease.”
Neither Binance nor Brave revealed the business details of the partnership. However, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said that Brave’s privacy-focused approach provides users a safer way to trade cryptocurrencies.
