KVB KUNLUN FG is changing its name to CLSA PREMIUM on December 13 as it plans to reposition its business processes. The name change was made earlier today by the KVB Kunlun, the Hong Kong-based retail Forex Broker.
The company has already passed the announcement to traders and investors before the new name takes effect tomorrow. Resolution for the new name was made at the recent EGM where plans for the name change was concluded.
The board had also announced that the Certificate of Incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands. The registrar had certified and approved the change of the company’s name on October 31 2019. Every other document regarding the change of name has been updated. After December 13, it shall henceforth be known as CLSA PREMIUM, according to the exchange company.
Registration of a new name approved since October
The company applied for the change of its name to CLSA PREMIUM since October. Hong Kong’s registrar has also approved all necessary documents regarding the name change of Companies. However, it wasn’t until November 29 when the Registrar approved the registration in Hong Kong. As it stands, CLSA PREMIUM has presented all legal documents for the registration and it’s going to be known by its new name from December 13, 2019.
Company’s code name still remains unchanged
When the name change becomes effective, the KVB Kunlun FG trading name used in the English stock short-name will also be changed to CLSA PREMIUM. Apart from that, effective from 9:00 AM tomorrow, the Chinese stock short-name in the English stock exchange will be discontinued. The name will no longer be part of the company as the company will adopt the new CLSA PREMIUM name for all its markets in the English stock exchange. However, the company does not intend to change the stock code name. It will remain “6877” as before.
The official website also changing
Apart from the name, the company is also going to change its official website to www.clsapremium.com to represent its change of name. This change shall also take effect from December 13, according to the company.
Reasons for the name change
The company has also given reasons for its name change. The company explained that CLSA PREMIUM would be a perfect fit for the company’s subsidiary. It noted that KVB Kunlun would be part of the broader entity representing the CLSA group of entities.
Besides, the company explained it’s trying to rebrand the company by giving it an improved identity and a fresh corporate image. It added that the new name and identity would be of immense benefit for the future investment plans of the company. It plans to reposition the direction of the company, which will be better for the company as well as its shareholders.
Since unaffiliated organizations are using a similar name as the company, changing its name will take away any confusion the public may have. According to CLSA PREMIUM, it is committed to rebranding the company and taking it to new heights.
