Windsor Brokers, known for its focus on forex and CFDs, has decided to expand its influence in the Middle East. The plan to gain influence has culminated in opening a subsidiary in the Middle Eastern country of Jordan. The company has received a Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) license, that will finally allow it to provide services to the local market. The services granted by the license are financial advisory and brokerage services.
The company’s global headquarters are based in the EU country of Cyprus. Its Middle Eastern branch will be based in Jordan following the new approval of a license. Windsor is only the latest in a long line of companies to make this move. They are securing a local and global license with the JSC to provide financial services. Competitor Equiti was awarded a similar license in the last year. The market is definitely becoming more interesting for outside investors.
The company will now be able to leverage all experienced gained in western markets. This will allow them to offer a wide spectrum of brokerage services both domestically and in the region. The main services they are known for are contracts-for-difference (CFDs) and forex. They will also be able to offer bullion, commodities, and indices. The market is expecting them to extend to locally listed assets as well.
CEO gives opening statements
Windsor Brokers CEO, Johny Abuaitah, has already stated that the mission for Windsor Brokers has always been to facilitate investors’ access to financial markets. He added that doing this by providing “regulated and transparent trading practices” has been key in Windsor Brokers continued success. He also noted that the exemplary customer service was a key differentiator for his company.
He went on to say that the opening of a Jordan office “will give Windsor Brokers a more direct interaction with existing Jordanian clients.” He continued that the opening of its Jordan subsidiary has been a project everyone has been working on for a long time. The board and investors are all excited and confident about the readiness of the Jordan team.
He finished with the belief that the new office would be as dedicated and ready to cater to clients in Jordan as previous expansions had been. He noted that their Belize subsidiary had induced the same amount of excitement in the local market.
The company believes that by opening this latest subsidiary, it will be able to get a grip not only on Jordan but on the whole Middle East. Starting in Cyprus, the company had always had one eye on expansion in this region but needed to diversify in further regions, such as South America, before it tackled a new market closer to home.
Windsor Brokers have now been awarded three licenses worldwide. Windsor Brokers are licensed by CySec in Cyprus. Their subsidiary in Belize, called Windsor Brokers BZ, is licensed by the IFSC and t’s new Jordan subsidiary is called Sheldon Investments LTD.
